The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC has settled for indirect primary to choose the flag bearer of the party in the forthcoming election.
APC reached this decision on Wednesday at the party's 11th National Executive Committee meeting holding at the Transcorp Hotel, Abuja.
Primerosenews had earlier reported that President Mohammadu Buhari and other APC leaders transmitted their powers to the National Working Committee, NWC, under the leadership of Senator Abdullahi Adamu to makd decisions for a period of 90/days.
Chief among those who will be vying the the party's Presidential primary are Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, former Lagos governor and APC national leader, Ashiwaju Bola Tinubu; the Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. Dave Umahi, his Kogi State counterpart, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi.
Others who are also nursing ambition of succeeding President Buhari in APC are, Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, the Apex Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele, and the Edo born business mogul and politician, Osifo Stanley.
